Vertex’s goal is to provide flexible, cloud-based solutions that help businesses to maintain tax compliance when and where it’s needed. We are excited to announce that Vertex O Series Cloud, which automates and centralises indirect tax determination in the cloud, is now available on Microsoft Azure. This option provides you with more choices in managing how you deploy your tax compliance solutions:

  1. Performance and speed: By placing both your ERP and Vertex tax calculation engine on Microsoft's global, high-speed network, you receive enhanced performance through reduced delays and improved transaction speed. This is especially valuable for processing large volumes of transactions and helping tax calculations keep pace with your business operations.
  2. Deployment flexibility: Vertex’s multi-cloud approach allows you to deploy Vertex O Series in a way that aligns with your needs, whether on-premises, in the cloud or as a hybrid model. The addition of Microsoft Azure enhances this capability, providing you with greater control over tax calculation processes and where your tax calculation is hosted.
  3. Trusted solutions: Extending Vertex’s industry-leading tax solutions into Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform gives you increased flexibility to align your business platform strategy with your tax technology, optimising both performance and compliance.

Integrating Vertex O Series Cloud with Microsoft Azure is particularly advantageous for organisations already using Microsoft products, such as Dynamics 365, as it facilitates direct access and efficient management of tax compliance.
