After two years of virtual gatherings, Vertex Exchange – held this week in Las Vegas – has given customers, partners, and employees a valuable opportunity to reconnect in person. The buzz and energy coursing through the presentation areas, conference rooms and hallways was off the charts, and drove home the fact that our connections matter now more than ever.
Our annual event’s core purpose is to bring together the brightest minds in tax technology in one spot so that we can learn, share insights, compare experiences and network. These interactions make all of us better equipped to solve problems, devise innovative solutions, and enhance organizational value. In that way, Vertex Exchange offers a practical, hands-on way to experience the network effect – the notion that the value of a product or platform hinges on the number of individuals who use it (the more users, the higher the value).
The same holds for Exchange, whose value – in the form of problem-solving, brainstorming, forecasting, and, yes, taking some time to enjoy some after-hours fun –far exceeded our expectations this year. Credit goes to our customers, partners, and the Vertex team.
