How We Do It
Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) are a key piece of our IB&E strategy and what makes Vertex, Vertex. Our BRGs help our team members from various backgrounds, experiences, cultures and locations have a place to connect. They build community, help our people to develop personally and professionally and even impact our business priorities. And they help us have some fun, too.
Prioritizing employees' health.
Total Health Resources for Inspiring Vertex Employees builds community around prioritizing a holistic approach to mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
Building bridges across generations.
GenNOW build trusted relationships at work, in business and in our communities with a focus on leveraging the Early Careers voice.
Elevating Latinx/Hispanic voices.
The Fuerza Latina BRG is dedicated to bringing together and celebrating the Latinx/Hispanic community and allies at Vertex through professionally-enriching activities while sharing career development opportunities.
Championing women in the workplace.
Women In Search of Excellence’s (WISE) mission is to cultivate an inclusive environment that supports and encourages women to elevate their voices and develop skills through connection, mentorship, collaboration, and education.
Putting families first.
The Vertex Village BRG is an advocate for working parents, guardians and caregivers at Vertex to promote a healthy work-life balance while raising children and caring for loved ones.
Fostering LGBTQ+ pride.
The Prism BRG advocates for those with diverse genders and sexualities to promote inclusion, equality, equity, and acceptance in the workplace and in our communities.
Taking care of veterans.
VALORS’ (Veterans and Leaders Operating in Respect and Service) mission is to provide support dedicated to the merging of civilian and military resources, interests and education of Vertex employees, their families, and the greater military/civilian community at large.
Our Inclusion Leadership Council, comprised of passionate leaders and employees, is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, equitable, diverse workplace. The group ensures our IB&E priorities align with business strategy, our workforce reflects the diversity of our customer base and partner ecosystem, accountability for progress against goals and transparent communication with stakeholders.

We carefully select partners and suppliers who share these same priorities and values as defined within our Code Of Ethics and Conduct. Because doing business the right way is our only way.

- Our customers trust us with some of their most valuable resources including their privacy and their data. We take that responsibility seriously.
- Our top priority is keeping our customers’ data secure. We employ rigorous security measures at the organizational, architectural, and operational levels to ensure that their data, applications and infrastructure remain safe. Where appropriate, we provide independent third-party audit reports such as Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 and SOC 2, as well as certifications to ISO 27001.
- Our customers’ privacy is also crucial. We pay critical attention to our responsibilities and obligations as a data processor and strongly support regulations that protect the cross-border transfer of personal data. We also support our customers in meeting their own GDPR compliance requirements.
