With Vertex O Series Edge you’ll leverage the latest edge computing technology to move tax calculation to the point of transaction for highest availability, improved performance, streamlined scalability, and enhanced security. With O Series Edge you can create tax engine “container images” that can be deployed virtually anywhere in the world with a direct sync to a central O Series hub. Tax calculation is done in real time on premise at the point of transaction, or in a local data center. Transactions are then streamed to a central hub, to enable reporting, analytics, compliance, and maintenance to be done from a central deployment.
