Vertex Holds 19th Annual Exchange Conference Virtually

Vertex Exchange is a four-day virtual event that connects thousands of Vertex customers, industry experts, and tax professionals from around the world featuring networking, training, and education.

Vertex has rebranded its esteemed customer awards program for the impact finance, tax and technology professionals are making across their businesses, as well as contributions they are making to industry. This year's Impact Award winners Edelman, Sigura LLC, Urban Outfitters, and Uber Eats are being recognized and celebrated for their ability to overcome adversities and improve tax compliance, while accelerating business outcomes. Winners were announced during the opening keynote address, marking the first time they have been awarded virtually since their inception almost 20 years ago. 

2021 Impact Award Winners:

• Sigura, LLC (Innovation Award): for overcoming business challenges by implementing next-generation tax automation to stay one step ahead of the IoT Revolution.
   
• Uber Eats (Purpose Award): for inspiring partners and servicing the needs of the worldwide community by using taxcode post-tax assist capabilities to identify tax remittance on behalf of its restaurant, grocery, and delivery partners. In addition, using cloud-based tax solutions to scale as Marketplace Facilitator requirements expand in states.
   
• Urban Outfitters (Team of the Year): for the collaboration of its Tax Team, Financial Systems Team, Merchandising Systems Team, and Retail Systems Team in automating indirect tax across multiple business areas and groups.
   
• Edelman (Visionary Award): for implementing an innovative tax automation solution enabling it to serve its global clients while ensuring that sales tax compliance is managed efficiently and confidently.
