Vertex makes third acquisition of 2021, picking up software firm with SAP expertise

Vertex continued its acquisition spree adding longtime business partner LCR-Dixon Corp., a specialized expert in SAP technologies and leading provider of tax intelligence solutions.

“We have been a partner on SAP work for around seven years,” DeStefano said, noting that will simplify onboarding the LCR-Dixon team.

This is Vertex’s third acquisition of 2021. In January, it acquired Tellutax and Taxamo planning to further innovation, expand more in Europe and South America and broaden its partner ecosystem. In the ensuing 15 months, the company has worked its ways down that checklist.

DeStefano said onboarding new employees remotely from three different companies during the pandemic has not been an issue. It has allowed the company to hire employees who work remotely, including key executives based in Florida and Texas.
