Vertex Inc. Awarded Americas ITR Tax Technology Award

The Tax Technology Award is given to the tax technology service provider whose process or system has greatly improved the efficiency of an in-house tax department, and Vertex received the award for its Vertex Indirect Tax O Series Version 7.0.

Vertex O Series provides tax professionals with an enterprise-level indirect tax management solution that automatically determines taxability and jurisdictions; maintains accurate tax rates; and calculates Sales and Use Tax for state and local jurisdictions across the U.S., and VAT worldwide. In addition, the solution includes a data repository with flexible reporting capabilities. Vertex O Series is one of the company's flagship products and enables clients to automate a broad range of transaction tax scenarios.

As a case study for the award submission Vertex featured ULINE, a client using Vertex O Series 7.0 to manage its tax function along with the web service integration available to expertly manage customers and exemption certificates.
